Perspective is a word innately bred. Known to the soul but lost in the mind. What is the first thing you do when your mind starts to wander through the dark recesses of your heart. Words bubble up telling you that you are not good enough. Thoughts of all the recent failures in your life spring to view. But suppose we take a shift of angles. Your perspective could change just by thinking of ways you have been successful. Smiles ou have received in return of a hello. The sun shining it’s warm rays on your skin as you exit a building. The heaviness that once was your windshield now becomes your rear view with a perspective change. You may have heard it said that you can’t worry about your own problems when you set our mind on helping others with their problems. It is true. Your mind cannot simultaneously process the kinks in your life while attempting to work out the kinks in a friends life. So let me encourage you today, wherever you are, whatever you are doing, to make a perspective change. Stop beating yourself up and think about your positive qualities. Stop growing in your worries and put thoughts towards someone close you can help. See how much a small step can gain you in distance from your self doubts.
